An attacker within range previously able to execute arbitrary code...
Apple has published IOS 10.3.3 disclosing a vulnerability in its previous installment enabling a hacker to potentially take over the device remotely via Wi-Fi.
The vulnerability has been patched through IOS 10.3.3. It also resolves vulnerabilities in other parts of IOS including Safari and Contacts.
If you havent already, update your device now.
Make sure your device is plugged into its charging adapter and connected to Wi-Fi.
1) Go to Settings.
2) Click on General.
3) Click on Software Update.
4) You should then see that IOS 10.3.3 is available to Download and Install.
5) Click Download and Install.
If your device does not have enough storage space it will try to temporarily remove apps to make space for the update. If this is still not enough, you can manually install the update by plugging your device into your computer and connecting it to iTunes.
